Zeke the Editor says:
We have all been here before. The dry food is just for emergencies, and not our regular fare. Spike’s bowl is not just empty, it’s gone! Nothing to do but just sit here until someone notices! I wish I had a box of Pacific Wild Salmon like Scooby had on the preceding post! To see more of this story, visit Christine and Spike at:

Oh, so true about dry food, only as a last resort! ~ Mia

Canned or tinned food is better, and fresh food the BEST! I cannot do fresh food for 4 cats, and still have a life, but then again, this is a cafe and the service is definitely slipping! Thanks for your visit and comment Mia!

Oh, I thought the salmon was for the cats. 😉 You’re welcome, please have a good Wednesday, Greg!

Raining so I will probably stay inside working on new blog posts for the very near future. Also “working” on getting a whole new life as well! But that is another story, yet to be told. . . You, have a good Wednesday as well Mia.

I find the rain lends itself to creativity, and it does keep things green. It’s very brown here in the urban asphalt jungle, the sun has just come out, it was a bit overcast this morning. Enjoy working on both your post and the story yet to be told.

Perhaps a bit of an over-reaction from Spike. Thanks for your comment.

Purrseidon tends to dramatize, too.

I was really just washing his dish. Spike always puts on his look at me starving face if his dish is empty.

LOL, I suspected as much, but that wouldn’t have been half as fun to speculate about. ;-)))

As long as there is dry food standing he does not have to fear a surgery coming up – then he would not be fed 12 hours prior to the vet visit. So yes, his bowl will come back again soon – refilled.

So it was, I have been informed!

Maybe it’s just gone for cleaning and a refill!
I’m sure it will be back soon.
