The drama is that Opie stays far away from Scooby who likes to chase her. She gets enraged! Here she is unaware that her nemesis is right behind her, ready to pounce! We will also join in today Comedy-Plus Blog Hop
If you missed it over the weekend, be sure to check out Christine’s Calendar Cat for September!

Opie and Scooby “He’s behind me, isn’t he?”
Opie looks determined to sit there and not acknowledge Scooby. “Maybe he’ll just go away if I pretend he’s not there.” Very cute picture

I guess as long as she doesn’t pounce, all is good.

Yep, we can relate. Lucy loves to chase Sadie, which Sadie just hates.

I remember such situations from Germany….long time ago. Sometimes it was funny to watch. Thanks for sharing and that I had my “looking back”

Da die Katzen die ganze Zeit drinnen sind, sind die einzigen Tiere, die man jagen muss, sich selbst!

I actually like B&W a lot. It is adds a bit of mystery to the scene and enhances the drama. Opie has her ears at that “miffed” angle so she knows Scooby is right behind her. Nice pic, Greg.

Just cannot seem to stop! Zeke is afraid to chase Opie, so when Scooby chases her, Zeke is right behind on Scooby’s tail!

A comment about the Black and White: The photo in color because of the ceiling lamp upper right had an over powering yellow cast to everything. Thought I couldn’t use the photo as I couldn’t fix it, until I simply removed the color. Now it is 20 times better. I avoid the black and white thing normally.

Hi Greg, super photos of Opie and Scooby. I think she has an idea he’s up to something, look at her ears! And Scooby’s waiting for just the right moment to pounce. Ah, family dynamics! I hope you and the cat crew are having a wonderful Monday. ~ Mia

Actually, Scooby was sleeping up there and just woke up. Now he is assessing his new situation! Today Monday is going to be a peaceful one–for me at any rate. Haven’t seen that alligator guy around. Just as well. Hope your day is a good one as well, Mia.

Good for Scooby. There’s nothing like a late morning nap, and then to wake up with an opportunity for a little exercise, what a great day! Yay, no gators here either. Thank you, it’s been good so far, enjoy the peacefulness of your day, Greg.

Opie is a “coon” cat. Scooby above is a big ginger tabby. Opie has a brother here “Zeke” who is a Maine Coon as well. Thanks for your comment today and visit, Carol.
