      1. Don’t they get hairballs? I recently adopted two persian cats. They keep vomiting hairballs even when I’ve been diligently brushing them. I could form a kitten with all the hair I remove from them each day, but they still hack up hairballs. 🙄

        1. Thanks for your comments. The longhairs are two Maine Coons and not as hairy as Persians. Summertime when they shed is the hairball season when they need a bit more attention and hairball more likely. 🐱 Not summer yet!

          1. Ah, I see. Unfortunately, it’s always summer where I live. Temperatures are almost always above 30°C all year round. And because of high humidity, real feel temperature is even higher. Perils of living in a tropical country. 😄

  1. Those “various activities” seem to consist mostly of sitting around or sleeping! I’m familiar with those activities. They are all sweeties. I like your fireplace. I have an open log-burning fireplace and just before the virus struck I was looking at replacing it with a gas log set… with a remote control… once things start opening up again I’m going to make this my project… even if I move I think it will be money well spent.

    1. Good luck with the fireplace. They said they could upgrade mine with a remote control for $200, but I think I am not that lazy. Besides Scooby is closely watching me turn it on. Maybe he will learn.

      1. Having a remote control doesn’t interest me but I’m told that’s the way it comes. In my last place I had a gas fireplace that clicked on with a switch on the wall. One morning I was leaving for work before I was completely awake. I picked up the TV remote control and tried to turn off the fireplace with it… very frustrated when it wouldn’t turn off! Took me several seconds to realize what I was doing!

  2. They are all such cuties. I love Scooby and his booties. And Zeke- are you a hoarder like my Emmy? Nothing wrong with that. XO

  3. They are all lovely photos. I laughed at Scooby with his Christmas booties. He looks like he is thinking that if he shuts his eyes they will go away.

  4. Scooby has the same carrier that Cody has (and he is going to the Vet tomorrow), isn’t it great how it opens at the top? I LOVE it! Glad to hear Scooby is ok!! Love how you turned the Chewy box into a house 🙂

  5. Oh these pictures are so cute! I love Scooby’s Christmas booties, even if he didn’t! The box of toys reminds me of the big box we accumulated… Jelly Bean and Chelsea were too old for toys anymore and they’d just sit there in a pile ignored, lol!
