The trial lasted 3 days but I could find no result. Something happened in it. There is a new schedule out.
Here are the dates of her upcoming hearings and a new trial.:
03/25/2026 Omnibus Hearing at 1:30 p.m. scheduled before the Presiding Judge for the Criminal Division on that date. Dept. CDPJ
05/14/2026 – Trial Readiness Status Hearing at 1:30 p.m., scheduled before the Presiding Judge for the Criminal Division on that date. Dept. CDPJ
05/28/2026 – Jury Trial at 8:30 a.m., scheduled before the Presiding Judge for the Criminal Division on that date. Dept. CDPJ
So we will not know much until The end of May.

Sounds like she refused to take a plea deal, so it has to go to a full trial. At least the cats are safe now.

Somehow I missed this post the other day. I wonder what is causing the delay. Do you think they are going to try and prove she is mentally unstable and not able to stand trial?🤔

So no trial until end of May? The wheels of justice grind slowly, and I suppose an animal cruelty case is low in the court’s priorities compared to the other crimes that come over the transom. But this person is out on the streets and pretty much free to do as she pleases, within reason? I am glad Louie is with you; he looks great, by the way. But hoping his former “owner” is staying away from other animals. Jeeze. 😕
