Guest Post: How To Get Rid Of Fleas On A Cat/Kitten

Thanks To greg-in-washington of Feline Cafe for inviting me to do this guest blog. I first started my first blog WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING) in January 2017 and in April 2017, I started CRYSTAL AND DAISY MAE’S PHOTO-BLOGGING SITE. I started these two sites because I had lost my job in January 2015 due to the store closing its doors for good, I was curious, I thought it would be interesting and fun to blog and I wanted something to do since I didn’t have a job. I have an 11-year-old that found me and she’ll be 12 in September. Like most cats, she has us wrapped around her little white paws. My cat is a Tuxedo cat. She is a very dark grey except for her chin and paws. Her chin and paws are white. My cat was named by my nieces and nephew and they named her Daisy Mae. I’m very thankful for Daisy Mae because of her unconditional love, her companionship and the fact that she helps relieves my stress if there is any. Daisy Mae’s picture is below.

Guest Post Feline Café

The following link takes you to a guest post I recently did on another blog.  One error I cannot correct on it today is that I started blogging 9 not 8 years ago.  I also want to say that I did not mean it to sound like a sad story!  No “condolences” or “sorries” please!  My life right now is very happy and promising.  “Likes” are off which is the norm here now, and comments are off, because  I want you to comment on the original if you are so inclined.  I WILL be watching and replying as I always do there!  NOTE:  I do not have comment approval authority there, so you will have to wait for Crystal to approve them before I reply. Also happy first day of Summer!

28 Years Ago (Spike the Scottish Black Cat Guest Blog)

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I used to live on a farm. A friend who was working in the fields on the combine came to the door he held his cap out and inside were the most gorgeous tiny ginger kittens I have ever seen. My friend said luckily he had noticed them crouching in the corn field.

I fell in love with them both they must have been brothers no sign of mum or dad.One was short haired whom I named Oscar and the other one was long haired whom I named Aslan. They were both such fun to have about although Aslan seemed slower at things they were such happy brothers.

When they were 6 months old it was time to get them neutered at my local vets as I have had cats all my life I thought this will be straight forward and they would be back home at tea time…..I got a phone call round about tea time from my vet saying my long haired gorgeous baby Aslan had died under the anaesthetic. Was he given to much as he was smaller and not as strong as his brother Oscar. The vet brought him home and I buried him in the garden in his favourite blanket. He would have grown up to have been such a beautiful boy. Oscar went on to life till he was 15 he was such a gentle giant.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Now 28 years have went past and the kittens next door remind me so much off my two boys.  Visit–
