OPIE 2009 – 2026

I knew it was coming one of these days. Oct 2024 Scooby went; Feb 2025 Zeke went; Dec 2025 little Nicholas went; May 2026 Opie went. My cat family was wiped out in short order. Now I just have little Louie running about the house . I won’t be able to spend 17 years with any cat ever again. I post a couple photos of Louie and Opie that never made it up.

    I’m so sorry I somehow missed this post! It’s so sad when dear pets pass away, and my heart goes out to you. I didn’t realize Opie had passed until I saw your latest post yesterday, then went back and found this one. 😢

    I am so deeply, deeply sorry. You have experienced more than your share of loss. It is unfair and unfathomable. Sending (((hugs))). I know what you mean about not spending 17 years with a pet anymore. I’m 70, my husband is 76. I totally get it. I’m so deeply sorry.

    Sorry to read of Opie’s leaving…Sending purrayers and love that you and Louie can help each other get over the worst of the missing her. She and all the others who Have Gone Before will still be remembered with much love.

    Opie was a beautiful kitty and had a good long life with you, Greg. I am sure she taught Louie many things, and he will miss her company. You and your kitties, past and present, are in my thoughts and prayers.

    I am so sad too dear Greg, it is hard to live this, Cats are in our World with love, with peace,..etc. how great friendships.. Memories at the back.     I am so very sorry. I, as do everyone else here know that awful pain. When Katie Isabella leaves me, I won’t be getting another. That alone will be awful. Losing our littles is a deep heavy burden bear.

    I am so sorry. It is really hard to lose a cat. Especially when they’ve been a part of your life for so long. It never gets easier. She was such a beautiful cat
