Live from Washington is as close to live as I can get today. From the car backseat I snapped this photo of Mt Rainier hidden by the clouds. It would make a nice Pacific NW header. Zeke is enjoying the moisture up his nose out in the catio between rainshowers. Zeke, a Maine Coon, will frequently sit out there in the rain and come is soaking wet! Notice the board behind him has been used as a scratching post, and will soon need replacement.

Rain!! Lots and lots of rain! I might need to get Oliver a rain jacket, think REI sells them in kitty size?!

Rain and temps in the 50’s is better than snow 2 feet deep. Oliver would disappear!

Lieber Greg,

I think now it is only Zeke and Opie, and some other cats who have passed, that did that. There are other marks on the inside. Opie tried to dig her way out once!

That is a lot of clouds. Did Zeke do all that scratching or does everyone use it?

Know the rain is a constant, but look at that bright spot in the sky! Happy Thursday! Elizabeth (aka Chryssa)

The bright spot is LEAVING. The view is WSW. The clouds are moving in that direction. Thanks for your comment and visit. PS I don’t do sunsets!

Oh No! Why? I’ve featured some beautiful Washington sunset in the Welcome gallery! Know it’s a long winter wait until they appear again! 💛

I check your blog when I want sunsets. Too many Douglas firs close by westerly to give me a good view.

Yay! Come by anytime. Got a few new ones! And always a monthly feature! All that rain makes those Douglas firs beautiful!

I vaguely remembered you have been here before. I found your photos of Tacoma on your Aug 9, 2010 post! (http://aboutthecats.blogspot.com/2010/08/views-of-tacoma.html) I could do Mt Rainier view every day, as seen on my “Contact” page, but things don’t change much except for the clouds and amount of snow cover. Thanks for your visit.
