A Bit of Zeke

A bit of Zeke. Not a whole lot going on. Today we have Zeke sleeping in one of his cat beds, but he decides to break into Opie’s room and check out her new reindeer bed when she is not looking. He does a little observation out the window. Nothing going on out there. Then he finds Scooby on my lap and decides this is the best bed of all. Thrown in a chilly photo of Mt Rainier from a Walmart parking lot.

  Two day climb–a campsite partway up–popular in summer. I looked up the climbing statistics and in 2022 9530 yes 9530 climbers.

I thought at first you wrote you saw Mt. Rainier at the Wal Mart checkout, lol. Seriously, it’s so so striking how you can see the mountain from so many places in the Seattle-Tacoma area. A friend who lives in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle says she doesn’t see Mt. Rainier very often because of the cloud cover and general clutter on the horizon, but when it does appear it’s “breathtaking.” Such lucky cats!

  Thanks to some neighboring trees we cannot see the mountain from the house. I don’t think the cats would be interested as it doesn’t move around! You always know the photos are mine by the clutter!
