Fashionable Scooby (Summer Solstice)! The sun is here! The heat is on! The fans are installed in the windows. They are all turned on. No sleeping in the sun for us. Lucky Scooby is the “short hair”! Now we are talking about the 80’s in temperature and not like our friends to the south cooking in the hundreds. Hopefully the wind won’t bring that up here to us. We are not used to that type of heat. We will all be lounging in shady spots or in front of the fans. Wish the days were shorter so the sun would not be up so very long into what should be the night. Sunday was the Summer Solstice– we had our longest day and the nights will gradually get longer and longer a few minutes every day as they count down to Christmas! Doesn’t look like I am going to be able to watch the sun at Stonehenge this year. Where did I store the Christmas tree?

Two stylish guys!

Cool sparkly shades, Scooby. We’re in the nice comfy 70s and 80s still, so it’s not bad here. Hope you’re enjoying a nice weekend!

We’re back down in the 80s for a few days, so we’re enjoying the “cooler” weather. Can you send us some of your rain though if you have any to spare? Great photo at Stonehenge!

Scooby you look terrific in shades. Mom loves the Stonehenge photos. She was there with her Dad for the solstice in 1978. The whole family went for a family reunion (her Dad is from Liverpool) and it was great fun! Tonight is the full moon and Mom is going to put the telescope in the yard and if she can stay awake long enough, she is going to try to get some shots of the Strawberry Full Moon!

Scooby love your shades. Now all you need is an outfit to match. You’re so fashionable and trendy.

Work that look, Scooby! The one time I visited Great Britain, it was July and was so chilly and wet I had to buy a coat. At Harrods! (I don’t have it anymore, I, ahem, outgrew it years ago.) I didn’t make it to Stonehenge, but when someone mentioned celebrating the summer solstice there, I said, “Did you make the sun angry? Because I haven’t seen it since I arrived here!” But good memories nonetheless. Stay cool!

Stonehenge was the only place that I absolutely had to visit in my lifetime in the UK.Everything else there was of secondary importance.

Stonehenge visit was in March and it was drizzly rain and only two other people on the site. It was a day trip for me.
