October Update!

October update: I have a bunch of illnesses knocking me back so I had to stop. I felt it too drastic to delete the blog so I made it private so I can bring it back if I wish . I didn’t want it to become a ghost blog by leaving it visible and abandoned. Cat wise, Scooby came down with Cholangiohepatitis. He would not eat. Had to feed him special food by syringe every 2 hours. That was tough. Eventually antibiotics kicked in and he could eat again. Lots of medications and lots of money but he is over it. It was a close call. Zeke jumped down into the catio and hurt his front paw. X-rayed and apparently no damage. Was ok in a week. Catio is closed and falling apart from neglect. Finally Opie who won’t allow brushing got full of hair mats and went to the groomer and got them shaved off and is happier now. She is still in her room mostly sleeping in her reindeer tent with the shark and her other stuffies.

    Oh goodness, so much to handle. It sounds like there is improvement overall, and we’re glad you came back to update everyone. Blog at whatever pace works for you, and try to take it easy. We’re all here for you.

    I am sorry you all are going through so much and hope things improve for you. It is hard to keep blogging when you are suffering from ill health. I stopped my photos blog for several weeks so I could concentrate on the boys blog, but I am trying to bring it back again.

    Oh no, Scooby and Zeke! It’s good hearing from you again, but I am sorry it’s been so rough for all of you. (I didn’t think Opie was so bad, a girl needs a haircut every now and then.) I hope things get better out there. Sounds like Dad needs a break too.
