Zeke and Scooby were Christine’s Calendar Cats for January 2018. The CURRENT series finished with December 2020, because I have no new cat calendar. Christine made and sent me a calendar with the TWO of us portrayed each month for 2021. It was a wonderful surprise! It hangs over my desk where I see it all the time. I shall, however, not be making it public here! Sooooo. . .
I started posting calendar photos in June 2018 every month forward, so I will ‘tentatively’ post the early part of 2018 through May this year to complete 2018. That’ll be it for 2021. Ironically the calendar dates for 2016 are identical to 2021, but after much searching, I found I had cut out the cat photographs and put them in a photo album so the calendar is no longer intact. Oh well. . . .This calendar photo is from 2017. The upstairs window is still a popular place with a great view.

I have added a photo to this post I would have used if I were making a calender this month for Zeke and Scooby. Both these guys are different breeds with Scooby a red shorthair tabby and Zeke a Maine Coon, but they get along famously.

Scooby and Zeke, you are so darn cute!

Somebody once suggested I shouldn’t buy new calendars every year… I should wait until they cycle around and use them again… but I enjoy choosing my two or three calendars every year.
Even though both my cats have access to the outside deck and balcony they still like to sit in the windows as if it is a different view! maybe it is….. Happy New Year!

I don’t think buying a new calendar or two each year is a budget busting life altering experience. Yes, I do have more than one as I like the photos, and mainly more often than not, I need to be reminded what day of the week it is. I only keep appointments written down on real paper calendars and x off the days so I know where I am! Note: I did not say Happy new Year neither this year nor even last year! Boy was I right about that one!

You have to make your own “happy” and I expect that you will do that! Been through a lot in my lifetime so despite all the crap going on in the world I have to say I am happy most of the time… it’s in the little things… and my cats! So I continue to say Happy New Year! And I agree about writing things down on paper.

What a nice surprise and good way to start 2021. The cats are gorgeous. We will miss the cats on the calendar each month. Daisy Mae and I loved that.

We always enjoy seeing a new monthly calendar photo, even when they’re from years past. I wish this house had wider window sills so the kitties could lounge in them like yours.

AS you can see the windowsills are all scratched up all over the house! Be careful what you wish for!
