Walking is what Scooby is finally enjoying outside now that the snow is gone. He used to like the snow and walk about, but when trying to take him out in the snow, all he wanted to do was come back inside through the front door. He was excited to go until he went! This day he got lots of exercise outside although it was cold and windy. Scooby is the only cat who goes out like this. If you don’t keep moving, the moss will grow on you!
We haven’t gotten much Sunshine around here, but Scooby will find it!
Christine is back with Christine’s Calendar Cats for 2022. Scooby is Christine’s Calendar Cat pick for January. The calendar was a present made by Christine and Spike, and sent late last year for use this year. Christine has been sending calendars to me for many many years now. This British calendar starts the week off with Monday.
The Usual Preparations . . . for Christmas are the mandatory photo shoots wearing silly Christmas clothes! Scooby is a good sport and demonstrating today what you can expect to see in the next posting here. The other two cats are not so enthusiastic or cooperative. Best to catch them in that misty land between sleep and full consciousness.
We are Back Again No Changes. That was so much fun we might break for Christmas too but not today! Everyone looks kind of sleepy and fat. We so look forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas but they never measure up to the holidays of the past with so many friends and family around who are now gone. I count the years by Christmas’s. Will we all make it to the next one in 2022 I wonder. It is a long way off. Best to make the best of the one right around the corner.
