Zeke on “Watch”

Zeke in catio snow
It is cold out here but I must keep watch!

Zeke spends most of his day (or night if he is lucky!) outside in the catio. Being a Maine Coon, the cold weather does not bother him. He has lots of long fur and a big furry tail. He blends in nicely with the snow and gravel in the catio today. He knows more about what goes on out in the back than anyone. Opie spends much time however in a second story window surveying the same scene from up above. What are they watching? It is my small stand of pine woods which I show below. Many birds and animals visit. Zeke I am sure knows them all. The vigil continues. . . .

Scooby out on a cold day

Scooby decided to go outside again this morning. There was a little snow that was melting, but lower temperatures and more snow are coming by evening. The fresh air does him good, and he sleeps like a baby after coming back inside. Hope your day is going well.

Snow cats

Snow cats today shows Zeke and Scooby in the snow. The snow had just begun to fall, so they were not much bothered by it. Scooby did not mind having cold paws–at least for a little while he was good with it. Then he went to the back door and meowed to come inside. Zeke was just “chilling” literally in the catio. He eventually came in when Scooby came inside. Next week is going to be bitter cold. I suspect we all will stay inside by the fire.

Christine’s Calendar Cat for January 2020

Scooby is my Love Christine’s Calendar Cat pick for January 2020. The calendar was a present made by Christine and Spike, and sent late last year for use this year. Here Scooby is going for a walk on his lead after a large snow storm in a photo titled “COLD DAYS”. Christine has been sending calendars to me from Scotland for many years now.  😻❤💕

Wake Up Scooby!

Wake Up Scooby! I know it’s early, but you cannot be sleeping all the time when there are important tasks to complete before Catmas! There are decorations in the wrong place that need to be moved. Ornaments have to be adjusted. Lights have to be checked. Things need wrapping up in paper. It is no time to be falling down on the job just because it is cold! Wake up Scooby!
