I Want Your Chair

I want your chair really requires no narrative. We have been through it a thousand times. Resistance is futile. Your cat will walk all over you and try and force you out, until you give in. Now, if you happen to sit in another chair, that chair is the one the cat will want. It wants what you have. Always!

Happy Birthday Opie! You are ten years old today. You do look younger than that. Let us first remind everyone you are a girl and not a boy, don’t have red hair, and don’t live in Mayberry. You used to belong to a neighbor who lived behind my house, but you liked my house better and moved in. The neighbor let me keep you. How lucky was that? Fortunately you have stayed here with us and never moved on. Happy Birthday Opie!

Opie is my Love Christine’s Calendar Cat pick for April 2019. The calendar was a present made by Christine and Spike, and sent late last year for use this year. Opie is an internet favourite. Christine has been sending calendars to me for many years now. I hope she never stops making them for me.
