Waiting for Christmas. That’s what we are doing though it looks a lot like waiting for lunch. The Christmas decorations are up and we enjoy batting them around and trying to eat them. We get into trouble but who cares? It’s Christmas. Got a little catio time but mostly cold and wet so we stay as comfortable as possible. Word has it we might be getting some good stuff. I guess we must wait and see, but we hate waiting for anything! Here below is a peek of us doing the usual.
Shark-nanigans! Similar to shenanigans only with sharks involved! In her room Opie takes protection from her friend Jabberjaw the Shark by sleeping next to him. Well, what do I discover one day when I go into her room? Scooby decides to sleep by Jabberjaw too, and Opie must go back under the dresser for peace and relaxation away from the trouble-makers Scooby and his loyal henchman Zeke.
We are taking a break for maybe a few weeks and then we will return if the world is still in once piece which is “iffy” at best. Have a great Thanksgiving and tell your family you love them ❤️️ .
Around the House shows a routine day for the two boys. We have them sleeping in their favorite chair, or one of them, on some old knitted garments irreparable; Zeke chilin’ in a window; Zeke in my face demanding food; the boys waiting for the catio to open which it won’t; Zeke shouting down at Scooby sleeping by his new book. He wants the story read to him every day. It is the new book by Mollie Hunt https://molliehuntcatwriter.com/ titled “Cat House.” For Veterans Day a few photos of ME! I got the T-shirt. I was pulling in over $125 month, free room and board, and a wardrobe of snazzy clothes as you can see. I was assigned to the old Air Defense Command and spent my time fixing interceptors like the one in the photo at various U.S. Northern Tier bases.
Catio Autumn. Been in the 20’s F at night and frosted over. The boys still insist on going out in the catio day or darkness. I try to explain but they don’t listen, so sometimes I just let them out. Now I get complaints about weeds and frost and the cold as if I control the thermostat outside. Looks warm with the sun on your back Scooby, but it is not!
Innocence. We are not doing anything!
Planning Trouble. I guess the idea of having three cats in the house who get along is too much to ask. Opie can handle those two; she just needs to assert herself and stand her ground. Scooby wants to play with Opie and Zeke is just Scooby’s toadie who follows him around. Zeke never messes with Opie one on one.
Feline Café
