The Three Plus One Remembered

The Three Plus One Remembered. Now the holidays are over there is not much going on. January is a bit of a bummer of a month eh guys? That’s why we fall for the “cats in cars getting coffee trick”–one day it may be true! We do our general routine: lying about mostly and sometimes going out in the catio for some grass if we are lucky. Opie hides in her room though she can come out if she wants to. The PC is in her room so she does get some company during the day or night. Dad’s doing his blog and listening to “Carmen”. La la la la la! Poor Opie! About this time in January 2019 Marigold died, so we remember her today as our featured photo. She was picked up by the Animal Police roaming the mean streets of Tacoma, and we adopted her. She was very smart and beautiful. We have not forgotten you.

Cats in Cars Getting Coffee (2)

Cats in Cars Getting Coffee (2). Don’t believe it says Scooby hiding in his bag. They said let’s go for ride to get coffee. I jumped in and ended up at the vet. Happily they just put me on a scale and sent me home with a good weigh in. The car never takes you anywhere good!

A Bit of Zeke

A bit of Zeke. Not a whole lot going on. Today we have Zeke sleeping in one of his cat beds, but he decides to break into Opie’s room and check out her new reindeer bed when she is not looking. He does a little observation out the window. Nothing going on out there. Then he finds Scooby on my lap and decides this is the best bed of all. Thrown in a chilly photo of Mt Rainier from a Walmart parking lot.

Calendar Cat January 2024

Scooby is Christine’s Calendar Cat pick for January. The calendar was a present made by Christine and Spike, and sent late last year for use this year. Christine has been sending calendars to me for many many years now.  This British calendar starts the week off with Monday. Temperatures here have been warmer and it is dryer than normal, so I don’t suspect Scooby will be out on any snowy walks, but he can hope!

Shark-nanigans!

Shark-nanigans! Similar to shenanigans only with sharks involved! In her room Opie takes protection from her friend Jabberjaw the Shark by sleeping next to him. Well, what do I discover one day when I go into her room? Scooby decides to sleep by Jabberjaw too, and Opie must go back under the dresser for peace and relaxation away from the trouble-makers Scooby and his loyal henchman Zeke.

We are taking a break for maybe a few weeks and then we will return if the world is still in once piece which is “iffy” at best. Have a great Thanksgiving and tell your family you love them ❤️️ .
