Another Day in the Life (3)

Some days we are just all thumbs. Scooby checking out a tunnel.

Catio Opens on rainy morning as Spring arrives. It got an inspection a few days back and the concrete blocks are new as the wooden table rotted away and was unsafe. The catio is half sheltered by the eave of the roof if the wind is not blowing. The boys wanted some wet grass which they threw up when they got inside the house. Thanks guys. I may replace the bricks with something else. We will see. So I guess Spring has arrived! Opie is on the windowssill in her room watching from above. Happy Spring!

Opie’s Hideout is a safe spot in her bedroom when she has intruders.

OPIE, Scooby, and Zeke The new little toy basket has already been repurposed. First Zeke jumped in and stayed a while before Scooby came along. A towel on the top makes a nice sunshade. Meanwhile Opie takes no notice asleep in her room next to Jabberjaw the shark. Sharks never sleep and have no eyelids either so he watches over her in case the boys come in looking for trouble. Zeke finds some morning sun, and Scooby interrupts.

Pals (5). Today we show Zeke and Scooby relaxing together in what we here call “The Condo”. The Condo is pretty old and been ignored for quite a long time, but it has been rediscovered as you can see. To try and get a cat interested in something can be difficult. Better if they discover it themselves which is what they did. Moving it on top of a table in another room made it suddenly interesting. When one cat got in, the other had to follow. I am not sure they are happy both sharing the second floor! I don’t know who was there first. Happy Valentine’s Day as well. 😻😻😻
