Float like a butterfly; sting like a bee! That was some old boxing advice! Here at Christmas, Zeke got to try his paws at boxing a real butterfly sort of. The butterfly has turned out to be the most desireable plaything in the house. Scooby loves it as well. Here Scooby is the referee. Zeke has a great right jab!
This post is about the cat condo with Scooby. The cat condo goes back to 2011 I think. It has had periods of popularity and periods of total neglect.
You know how cats are. A popular sleeping place for Scooby is a cardboard box. He often is hard to find when he is sleeping under it. I decided to upgrade his box and put the condo on top of it. Could use some “decoration.” Maybe I could put an even bigger box under it! It was not long before Scooby moved in! A change in position can often revitalize an unused item.
Zeke reporting! Normally we don’t post on Thursdays but we are all house-bound! The air quality is SO bad from the wildfires in Oregon and British Columbia blowing over us we can hardly see or breathe! Greg got hit the worst! He’s hacking too! Here is a photo from Tuesday on the way to the Ford dealer for warranty service. That thing in the left corner is the sun! Looks like we are on Venus!

Not done any outdoor leash walking with Scooby. Been pretty warm for me, Greg. Staying in and amusing ourselves was the order of the day from Zeke Editor in Chief who made us blog-post nearly every day this week. Zeke can be quite a task master! Scooby on the other hand was examining his toy collection. He thinks some of them are missing! Misplaced more likely. Have a good weekend everybody!
Earlier this week–Global Warming
Monday is over so Scooby is Out of the Bag! He thought it best to hide most of Monday. That was a smart thing as it was 90 degrees, and our house sits open out in the sun and we have no air conditioning. Greg is a bit ill today but nothing serious, so that is why we have a new post today. He went out and stupidly got a touch of heatstroke. Fortunately the buzzards didn’t get him.
Tuesday is shaping up to be a fine sunny day. Scooby is showing off his reserve cat toy stash. Lots of very old ones in the old Easter basket. There seem to be cat toys strewn about every room on the floor with an average spacing of no more than three feet apart. In the morning, they all appear in different places! So have a good week as the worst day is past us I hope for all!

Today we play Comedy Plus Tuesday Fun
This post is about the Twinkle Chute cat tunnel.
Our cat tunnel is so old I do not remember when I purchased or where. It has LED lights which were motion activated, but they long since stopped functioning. That is not a problem. The cats still like to play inside it. Jumping in and out of the middle hole is common practice. Today we see Scooby checking it out.
