This post is about the Twinkle Chute cat tunnel.
Our cat tunnel is so old I do not remember when I purchased or where. It has LED lights which were motion activated, but they long since stopped functioning. That is not a problem. The cats still like to play inside it. Jumping in and out of the middle hole is common practice. Today we see Scooby checking it out.

What is going on in there?
Here I am!
Today we show some photos of Marigold playing with Dynamite! Homeland Security need not be alarmed, as the dynamite sticks are filled with catnip! So far, we have had nip bananas, nip dynamite, nip boomerangs, and a nip carrot! WE also have some toys that can be refilled with any brand of nip you like. It is hard to grade these items but the yellow nip boomerang with eyes on it may have a slight edge, for readers who want to know.
I like the cardboard from paper towel rolls. Looking for dynamite!
This is not what I thought it was.
This smells like Dynamite!
There is a new carrot in town, and it’s name is “NIP”!
Looks like Scooby got to the new catnip carrot first, and is not letting it go! We have never had a nip vegetable as a cat toy before. Looks like the day is planned out for Scooby!
Scooby and Marigold
This post is about our first Chewy box.
I got a coupon in the snail mail for $15 off a Chewy order for first-time customers. It was too good to pass up, as we were going to need food soon, and I was feeling lazy about going to the store to pick it all out. Why not get it delivered at a discount, I thought. Two days later a grumpy mailman dropped the box at my front door. I managed to drag it inside, as I am getting weak! Basically I just ordered the food they normally eat, and threw in a bonus catnip banana. The box turned out to be fairly popular, but only if the catnip banana was inside it.
Marigold and Chi-cat-a-banana
The catnip banana was called a “Chi-cat-a-banana” or chicatabanana. It is bigger than their newest catnip boomerang, and the same size as their catnip dynamite. Scooby and Marigold liked it. Opie was not so enthusiastic. Zeke hid under the bed from the mailman ringing the doorbell.

Why are my eyes glowing?

This post documents a little of Scooby’s birthday Tuesday. His “Gotcha” day is in October, and he insists that be celebrated as well. He is pretty keen on the “Dynamite” catnip toys. On this birthday I got him a new catnip boomerang toy to try out. I will admit my eyes were watering when I removed it from it’s plastic case! My face sort of resembled the face on the boomerang (From Drs Foster & Smith). Additionally Scooby got some of his favorite cat treats, and got more than his daily allowance of them. Some new “Jackson Galaxy” toy cat balls were thrown into the mix from Petsmart. They are oddly shaped, and colorful enough to help me find them! The cat balls were not too interesting at first, but in the morning they were all missing! I had to retrieve them from under various pieces of furniture with an umbrella. So let’s have a little look:
This smells STRONG!
Testing under the chin
Tastes good TOO!
Catnip Boomerang $5
“Jackson Galaxy” TM cat balls $5.69
I bought these things with my own money, and I am not endorsing them, just showing Scooby enjoying himself! How long the catnip will attract cats in the boomerang is an open question. At any rate he had a good time, and was very well behaved. That is all that matters.
Scooby is featured on Katzenworld’s TRT#138 today Tuesday March 21. Since you are already HERE, the photo I used is shown below. If you came here from Katzenworld, I have added a bonus tummy photo for you to view.
Additionally, Zeke was featured on Katzenworld’s TRT#56 and also Katzenworld TRT#100
There is much going on in the photo. Firstly it was taken shortly after I adopted him. As you can see, he is thoroughly enjoying his catnip banana. When I first brought him home, he was like a lost soul. He just looked around and did nothing. He responded to nothing. It took quite a while for him to come out of his shell, but he is a busy boy now! I love the spots on his belly.
This is MY nip nana!
Here is a brand new sleeping Scooby displaying his tummy taken two days ago. He has his winter coat. I wish I could sleep like that! Actually, I could if the cats did not bother me at night!
Yes, you are at the right place! Today we view a Scooby animation–playing with his catnip Dynamite!
