Christmas Means (Revisited)

Christmas Means is one of my favorite posts of all time. Here you will see Marigold, who passed in January 2019, again. It’s good for a second look if you have seen it before, and if this is your first time here, welcome and enjoy! I can’t seem to improve on this post so I just keep putting it up.

Opie and the Tooth Fairy (2017)

From Aug 2017 we have Opie playing with a new toy sent to her after she lost a tooth by Miss Ellen at 15andmeowing.com .It is none the worse for wear now as I see it here and there on the floor. Opie had bad genes and ended up eventually with no teeth. She eats “pate” mostly. Warning: Flashing from the photo below may cause seizures.

Weird and Wonderful Flashbacks

Weird and Wonderful Flashbacks mostly from 2015. Sorry I’m late today. Anyway prepare to see: Cat under a Christmas tree, a spirit orb, a cat in a tunnel, a cat at the vet, a cat outside, a cat snacking on cheese, and a cat in a drawer!

Opie and Christmas trees
Opie says don’t forget Christmas is coming! This doesn’t smell like a real tree.
ghost orb
My photo of a spirit orb–a deceased cat or my late wife checking up on me. My blogspot blog is deleted. Photo not retouched but cropped from a larger photograph.

Opie outside for a supervised walkabout. The grill rusted away, the table rotted and the plant died.

Scooby’s Gotcha Day (Oct 13 2015)

Scooby’s gotcha day was six years ago. There are a few photos of him at PetSmart when I picked him up; some other photos of when he first came home. He didn’t know what to make of it. He was given up by his owner with the cryptic line: “Can’t take care of him anymore.” According to his old med records he was 5 1/2 years old when I got him. He has some peculiar habits so I wonder about his previous home. I think he was raised with dogs as he acts more like a dog than a cat! Strange but true! He came already leash trained. The first time he saw our leash he jumped around like a dog knowing he was going out, and patiently got harnessed up. So here are a few of the earliest memories.

Memories of Winter (2)

Memories of Winter (2). So soon it came along with Christmas, and then it was gone. How the time flies past. My theory is the days are all the same which makes them fly by. A year in isolation and I still have all my marbles. I can show you the jar they are in if you want. Enjoy the memories of not so long ago.
