What day is it? EVERYDAY! X’ing off the days on the calendar has never been more important! I wonder if the cats know the difference? I think they notice the changes in the weather. First we had unseasonable hot weather to suffer through, and then we had wildfire smoke to breathe, and now today the typical Pacific Northwest constant rain falling down cleaning everything. The cats still lie about and try to find something to do but mostly it is sleep.
Yes, it is another Feline Cafe Monday. It is hard to tell one day from the other, but that is not very important to us here. Today we show the boys eating. Unfortunately Scooby is a food bully, and has to have his food bowl given to him first. If someone else gets a bowl first, Scooby goes over and sticks his head in the bowl pushing Zeke’s head out; therefore, I prepare two, put down Scooby’s and then Zeke’s, at a respectable distance. What about Opie. She gets delivery to her bedroom, and no one would dare mess with her bowl! It’s nice Catio Weather and Zeke spends most of his time outside in it. Scooby eats and sleeps mostly. Finally we show Opie in her catbed in her room.
Happy 7th Blogversary to us here on WordPress. How the time flies by. I have done many different blogs many places but this is the only one left and the blog of longest duration.Thought I would throw a few photos up today both new and old, but first a little reminiscing. When this blog began here in 2013, there were three cats: Zeke, Opie, and Marigold. October 2015 Scooby joined the gang as the fourth.
Sadly in January 2019 Marigold died and we were back to three, so in the 7 year run here, she was the only casualty for which we are very thankful. Let’s look at some new and old photos through the years here today. If you remember the old ones, you are an old timer!
Happy Birthday Zeke (11 years). Once again I cannot believe another birthday has rolled around. We are thankful for them all. I cannot believe you are this old either! You were born to two feral cats and lived in a flowerpot on a neighbor’s porch. You were called “Mop” as they would chase you out their front door when you sneaked in with a mop! They wanted me to take you but I already had five cats and did not want another. Finally I agreed and I am glad I did! Today I shall post some older photos of you to remember some of the good old days.
